March 2023 - Easter revision sessions

Kia ora from New Zealand! I am currently working in New Zealand for a year teaching Senior Chemistry at the local area school. Needless to say it's been really interesting translating my pedagogy and curriculum knowledge to the qualification system over here (between all the visits to the endless gorgeous beaches the Coromandel has to offer).

But rest assured,  I have not forgotten my UK clients and former students, and am pleased to annouce I will be hosting FREE revision sessions over the Easter holidays (April 1st - 12th 2024). All Year 11 students sitting their GCSE exams this summer are welcome to join, and any Year 10 students sitting in 2025 also. Spread the word

The website is live! This is a ground-breaking day for me, I have previously only tutored through an online tutor search website and word-of-mouth recommendations. This has kept me busy and I have always been 'full' for tutoring whilst full-time teaching, but I am excited to be expanding for students further afield in both the UK and abroad. The potential to reach less-experienced teachers and to be able to assist them in developing their own practice is now within my grasp and I cannot wait to share everything I do daily within my teaching with the wider community!

My favourite annual Open Evening 'party trick' is to manually inflate the lungs on a pluck using rubber tubing, inspired by my Biology teacher from school (but I like to think I do it better than him now!).
